Vision and Objectives

Vision

To study and develop Mathematics Education based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) and to integrate science and technology in order to produce excellent graduates capable of facing global challenges.

Objectives

  1. To produce graduates of mathematics education who:
    a. are competent in teaching by applying higher-order thinking skills through pedagogical approaches relevant to students’ needs.
    b. provide learning that is based on modern technology to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the mathematics learning process.
    c. are able to actively contribute to improving the quality of mathematics learning through research activities in the field of mathematics education.
  2. To produce innovative works as well as knowledge and technology in mathematics education and learning that are adaptive, creative, inspiring, economically valuable, and that integrate local wisdom.
  3. To enhance students’ and society’s knowledge, insights, and creativity by producing innovative and inspiring products as results of scientific studies to address problems in society and schools in the field of mathematics education and learning.
  4. To establish collaborative programs with government, society, businesses, and related institutions (universities, schools, and other organizations) at the local, regional, national, and international levels in a constructive and sustainable manner.
