The University of Lampung’s S1 Mathematics Education study program held a guest lecturer activity by inviting a mathematics education lecturer from Yogyakarta State University, Dr. Ali Mahmudi, S.Pd., M.Pd. The activity was carried out on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Hall A FKIP Unila. The theme taken for the guest lecturer was “Becoming a Bright Generation through Enhancing Human Literate in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.
The participants of this national guest lecturer were filled more by new students of mathematics education study program in 2019/2020 school year. Nevertheless, students from 2016, 2017, 2018 also participated by sending their representatives. Some undergraduate mathematics education lecturers also attended the event.
Dr. Ali Mahmudi, S.Pd., M.Pd. in his presentation delivered tips in dealing with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 so that students are not complacent with current technological advances, but also keep abreast of these technological developments. A description of Human Literate was also conveyed by Dr. Ali Mahmudi, S.Pd., M.Pd. on that occasion with added motivations for students.
